THE LARGEST CROWD EVER IN US HISTORY

Recently, I responded to a staunch Republican friend of mine as we exchanged e-mails on US Presidential Election and attached a VIDEO from McCain Supporters (see below) and my comments after the video :
If you sympathize with the Republicans,I pronounce you guilty by association:-) But seriously things are getting ugly especially when Republicans start chanting “Kill Obama, Kill Osama, Cut off his head”. Sarah Palin and McCain incited the crowds, a product of their ‘kitchen-sink’ strategy for a failed campaign at the eleventh hour. The ugliness of the campaign is incresingly disturbing but the sound of the crowd booing McCain for trying to calm the very storm that he and that Palin have created was terribly frightening. Sarah has the nerve to incite bigotry and hate based on a lies and dubious attempts to connect Obama (who was 8 years old when William Ayers was considered a domestic terrorist) and that he is an Arab/Muslim . We know she has just been found to have abused power.
Well, I was hoping that Mccain will just care more about his country than to incite riotous behaviour.
That ain’t funny, 3 American … Presidents were assassinated before. I think there is nothing first world about US Politics. It is as barbaric as what you find in Zimbabwe.
Voter fraud is has been present election after election. I bet we will be watching McCain going to Supreme Court (presided over by Republican activist judges) after losing this year’s election. He will be hoping for a Bush replay that cost Al Gore the Presidency even though Al Gore won.
In the US , you and I know that race is the elephant in the room. Sarah Palin must be ashamed of her double standards. On one hand she has this black Kenyan ‘exorcist’ as her pastor in Wasilla, Alaska and on the other she is playing race card. I guess the Pastor is only as relevant as he can cast out Beelzebub out of her. (Remember that video of Sarah Palin and Kenyan Pastor Thomas Muthee)
The biggest problem with the McCain campaign is that it has allowed one of its strategists Karl Rove to dominate it these past few weeks as Obama’s lead has widened. Karl Rove is a brutal politician, he is the man responsible for making the Bush presidency twice. Remember how McCain lost the elections in 2000…. they (Rove et al) ran scathing attack ads saying McCain “fathered a black child” out of wedlock. Fathering a child out of wedlock might have spared him the attacks BUT fathering a BLACK child was the ultimate sin.
It is getting bizarre, McCain’s conservative right wing pastors and evengelists are openly praying for McCain to win. First, they prayed for Obama’s outdoor acceptance speech in Denver to be rained out, now they’re praying for an Obama defeat. At a McCain rally yesterday, a senior pastor’s opening prayer was as follows:
“I would also pray Lord that your reputation is involved in all that happens between now and November, because there are millions of people around this world praying to their God — whether it’s Hindu, Buddha, Allah — that his [McCain’s] opponent wins for a variety of reasons.
And Lord I pray that you would guard your own reputation, because they’re going to think that their god is bigger than you, if that happens. So I pray that you would step forward and honor your own name in all that happens between now and Election Day.
Oh Lord, we just commit this time to you, move among us, make your presence very well felt as we are gathered here today in Jesus’s name I pray.”
Yesterday McCain said “I want to be president of the United States, and I don’t want Obama to be,”
Last month a right wing group headed by James Dobson prayed for torrential rains to stop Obama’s acceptance speech scheduled at Invesco field, Denver, an open ceremony. Instead the prayer went unanswered and rewarded Obama with plenty of sunshine! The acceptance was historic.
The charges of guilt by association leveled against Obama are plain cheap. Are we also going to go after McCain for getting evangelist John Hagee who other things:

Hates Catholics (Remember his sermon “Catholic Church is the biggest whore”
2. Believes Hurricane Katrina was God’s punishment;
3. Believes God sent Hitler to make sure the Jews returned to Israel; and
4. Once described George Bush as a Messiah.
I am an advocate for the seperation of Church and State, after all, slave owners owned churches.
We all need to respect each other more despite our differences, otherwise this great nation is drifting towards intolerance!
